Gretna & Gretna Green Weddings require two witnesses and a witness at a wedding has to be at least 16 years old. Many couples who try to find witnesses just before their wedding have found this to be quite a worry, time consuming and an unnecessary hassle on their wedding day, when they have so many other things to think about. My wife Pauline and I have been asked by photographers, hoteliers and others who arrange weddings to attend as witnesses and we have found this to be a pleasant and useful service to provide.
We would arrive at the venue for your wedding, whether it be at the Registration Office or a wedding at a Blacksmith's shop by a Minister or Registrar about 15 minutes before the service is due to start and have a chat with you and your fiancee, hopefully putting you at ease and contributing to you having a most enjoyable wedding ceremony.
